Winners of the 10th Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST) were honored by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Wednesday 7th March 2018. DDC was a key sponsor of the event, which aims to bring the attention of key organizations and the local media to sustainable transport. Victor Calise, commissioner at New York City Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the award ceremony, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Awarded to both individuals and groups, the award aims to encourage community organizations to play an active role in supporting sustainable transport, and re-asserts the leading role of the RTA in forging partnerships with various parties
